Oh how I wish this were a happy occasion. How I wish that my husband’s daughter and son coming for summer, totally unannounced and totally not the time we previously scheduled was a super awesome thing, but hello…I’m a bitch and it is not totally awesome.

I’m irritated. Like massively irritated. This is not at all how I imagine I would spend the next two weeks. My kids and his rotten two all crammed together in a small walk up. It’s ridiculous. His ex is… to be honest I can’t even think of a word to describe her. And the kids…not my biggest fans. To say they and their mother hate me would be the understatement of a lifetime.

I will be here a lot. Whining and complaining and poking fun at them to make myself feel better.
